Cimplung is a traditional food of a region in Indonesia. More precisely in the village Sudimara, Cilongok, Purwokerto, Banyumas. There was not much familiar with this area, because it is isolated and far from the center of the crowd. Among the thick coconut plantation is a unique traditional food, the villagers call it Cimplung.
Then the food is actually Cimplung it?
Cimplung food is food that I cooked along with the process of making sugar, brown sugar made from coconut flower water, or the so-called Nira. Let's see how to make Cimplung traditional food Banyumas.
Materials that need to be prepared: cassava (cassava materials can be replaced with young coconut, banana or taro). Then the material is water for cooking Nira, the amount is adjusted with red sugar to be made, so the amount of water is not affected by Nira of cassava. Usually to make brown sugar as much as 1 kg of 5 liters of water needed sugar.
After all the ingredients ready, we can immediately start making Cimplung food.
First build a fire with wood fuel, using the furnace of earth materials. Why use wood fuel? because the sugar-making process takes a long time, if using gas or kerosene would be very wasteful.
Put the pan (a place to cook a basin) to accommodate the sugar water on the stove, keep the fire to keep burning. Cook the sugar water to boil, stirring, stirring, then input cassava Cimplung will be made into sugar water that is boiling. Boiled cassava in sugar water until the water tastes sweet sugar that seeped into the cassava.
Cook the cassava until soft for about 1 hour, until the brown color of cassava into one with sugar water which will turn into sugar. Then the ripe cassava appointed, and the food was served Cimplung ready. Sugar water for cooking Cimplung continue churning until thickens and becomes brown sugar.
Traditional foods eaten Cimplung perfect warm with coffee. If you visit Indonesia and like foods that are still very traditional, you can visit Purwokwerto, Banyumas regency, Central Java, guaranteed you will enjoy adventurous foods.

This sounds great but just introducing a blog of international foods without introducing yourself or having a way to view a profile on you is detracting from your authenticity. It would be an exceptional plus if we saw a face, an interest list, what you are if only a real person behind these great posts.

The food you write about is unknown here in the states, well at least by me in the northeast region of the united states--ohio to be exact. I have no idea who you are but that you write well AND use the VINEFIRE service to feature your blog.

This is good we use the same virtual bulletin board but please allow us to see whom we are communicating with. As my profile indicates here, I have two blogs that serve two purposes. Go and see and thank you for sharing,

    sharing the light,
